| Sumario: | During the thirties, the different political scenarios (national, provincial and local) were crossed by the growing challenges to liberal institutions and the emergence of corporatist proposals that characterized the period. In the space of the city of Rio Cuarto (Cordoba), the predominance given to the administrative function of the municipal government on its political face and the increasing pressure and influence of corporate interests on government decisions led to the formation of a political culture contemptuous of the party system, political pluralism and internal democracy. |
