Sumario:The aim of this article is examine the characteristic of police´s chronicles in la Pampa national territory during the first decades of 20th century. Specifically, we consider the emergency of a speech that associated the situation of the justice with the necessity of structural reforms in the government of national territories. From the newspapers of La Pampa, La Autonomía and La Capital, we point to identify the representation of crime and the arguments about the limited state intervention.
