In order to contribute to debates that incorporate research on the first Peronist to larger fields of studies such as political parties or reflection on Latin American populisms, I explore the relationships between the concepts used and notions of politics involved in them, both the present of historians and the present of protagonists of the period. By identifying tensions between the uses of the concepts and advances in historiography as a whole, the article propose to discuss the idea of "adherence” as a way to change the valences of the terms laid down in discussion.
