But here, Cossettini´s figure will be a pretext in order to habilitate our analysis. Thus, we will discuss the link between biography and history within the contemporary historiographic field. Biography will be understood as a way to historicize, but also as a source that allows to complex the general historiographical analysis and the specific one related to women´s history. A simple vista, el presente artículo inscribe su eje de reflexión alrededor de la vida de Olga Cossettini, una mujer santafesina que vivió entre 1898 y 1987, ejerció sistemáticamente la docencia y el trabajo intelectual, como así también se encargó de legarnos un completo archivo personal (epistolario, diarios, manuscritos, etcétera). Pero, aquí, la figura de Cossettini será el pretexto para habilitar nuestro análisis. Así, discutiremos el vínculo entre biografía e historia en el campo historiográfico contemporáneo. La biografía será entendida como una forma de historiar pero también como una fuente que permite complejizar el análisis historiográfico en general y particularmente el propio de la historia de las mujeres.
