En este artículo se analiza el anticomunismo en Argentina y Brasil en los años sesenta. Centrándonos en los discursos y prácticas anticomunista, y su impacto en el campo cultural, se analiza el rol de los diferentes actores en la implementación de una legislación anticomunista que, iniciada en los años cincuenta, fue acompañada de prácticas violentas alentadas o ignoradas por el Estado.
