The popular rebellion exploded in the streets, forcing the government to back down with the measure. The people's uprising baptized as the "Mendozazo del Agua" or "Mendozaguazo", configures a privileged temporality to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the historic “Mendozazo” of 1972. From the methodological point of view, we have resorted to the review of sources and bibliography.
