In that direction, this dossier analyzes the multiplicity of actors involved in this mass act: the teachers, the children, the university students, the bank workers, the future members of one of the guerrillas that developed later in the province, and the lawyers who dealt with the defense of the detained. At the same time, it addresses its resonances in the present, by studying the popular rebellion of December 2019 known as "Mendozazo del Agua" or "Mendozaguazo" in the face of the legislative reform that sought to enable mega-mining. Cincuenta años después volvemos al Mendozazo, con un conjunto de trabajos que revisitan este hito histórico “desde abajo” a través de una lente que hace observables las condiciones de vida de los sectores subalternos, su capacidad de agencia histórica/política, su experiencia en sentido thompsoniano. En esa dirección, este dossier analiza la multiplicidad de actores intervinientes en este hecho de masas: las maestras, las infancias, el estudiantado universitario, las trabajadoras y trabajadores bancarios, las y los futuros integrantes de una de las guerrillas que tuvo desarrollo en la provincia y las abogadas y abogados que se ocuparon de la defensa de las personas detenidas. A su vez, aborda sus resonancias en el presente, al estudiar la rebelión popular de diciembre de 2019 conocida como “Mendozazo del Agua” o “Mendozaguazo” frente a la reforma legislativa que buscaba habilitar la megaminería a partir de una reforma de la “ley guardiana del agua”.
