The conceptual and methodological resources linked to this perspective exalt the potential of documentation, rediscover or recreate repositories and challenge the "archive" institution. This article offers a brief overview of the critical formulations of androcentric versions of the past and the epistemological confrontations of feminist theories. It also reflects on the linking points of the rest of the articles that make up the dossier and evaluates their projections in a discipline that has long been a discipline of women's history and gender studies.
