The article seeks to explain both its functioningand its positions through the analysis of two milestones, thegeneral strike in January and the Merger Congress of the workers'movement in March. As it did not have its own permanent press,most of the information comes from two sources, La Protesta,a classic anarchist newspaper edited in Buenos Aires and theRosario newspaper El Municipio which covered the events withremarkable detail. La Federación Obrera Local Rosarina fue una seccionallocal de la Federación Obrera Regional Argentina; que se fundóen agosto de 1902, y que creció en organización y capacidad deacción directa llegando a ser un actor clave en el primer trimestrede 1907, el año más álgido en conflictividad obrera tanto contra elcapital como contra las autoridades. El artículo pretende explicarsus tensiones internas como sus posicionamientos a través delanálisis de dos hitos, la huelga general de enero y el Congreso deFusión del movimiento obrero de marzo. En tanto no tuvo prensapropia permanente, la mayor parte de la información proviene dedos fuentes, La Protesta, clásico periódico anarquista editado enBuenos Aires y el diario rosarino El Municipio que cubriera connotable minuciosidad los sucesos.
