El itinerario mexicano de Miguel Littín Rodríguez, Israel Cine mexicano Tercermundismo Miguel Littín Exilio chileno Actas de Marusia Mexican cinema Third-worldism Miguel Littín Chilean exile Actas de Marusia This article proposes that, following the Mexican itinerary of the filmmaker Miguel Littín, it is possible to see the way in which different interests converged to position this author and Mexican cinematography in a leading place within the main film forums of the 1970s. Connecting information from different geographies, the text shows how, on the one hand, the Mexican State supported this filmmaker as part of a broad international strategy and, on the other, how this creator took advantage of this circumstance to continue a career in constant ascent. Along the way, Littín's films, previously linked directly to the Chilean project within a nationalist rhetoric, was transformed and adapted to the circumstances of exile and the third-worldism of the Mexican State.
