Connecting information from different geographies, the text shows how, on the one hand, the Mexican State supported this filmmaker as part of a broad international strategy and, on the other, how this creator took advantage of this circumstance to continue a career in constant ascent. Along the way, Littín's films, previously linked directly to the Chilean project within a nationalist rhetoric, was transformed and adapted to the circumstances of exile and the third-worldism of the Mexican State.
