On one hand, conceived space is conceptualizedat the decline of the colonial period, and, on the other, it ispointed out its continuity through revolutionary times, althoughin apparent contradiction with crisis of the monarchy, whichis proposed to be thought in terms of deterritorialization. Inthe mesenteries of that passage, reflections are suggested aboutfragments of the trajectories of different political actors, focusingon the spatial keys of their legitimacy. Finally, interventions ofthe revolutionary order on the city of Buenos Aires are deployed,throughout the diplomatic, festive, and sociopolitical levels for theconfiguration of a new public and social space. Este artículo indaga sobre la dimensión espacial de lapolítica rioplatense durante las invasiones inglesas y el juntismorevolucionario desde la perspectiva del Cabildo de Buenos Aires.Por un lado, se conceptualiza al espacio concebido en el ocasodel período colonial, y, por otro, se señala su continuidaden tiempos revolucionarios, aunque en aparente contradiccióncon la crisis de la monarquía, a la que se propone pensar entérminos de desterritorialización. En los entresijos de ese pasaje,se sugieren reflexiones sobre fragmentos de las trayectorias dediferentes actores políticos, reparando en las claves espaciales de sulegitimidad. Finalmente, se despliegan las intervenciones del ordenrevolucionario sobre la ciudad de Buenos Aires, a través de losplanos diplomático, festivo y sociopolítico para la configuraciónde un nuevo espacio público y social.
