Sumario:This paper proposes a critical examination of the book La justicia peronista, with the aim of reassessing its main hypotheses in light of the impact the work had and new findings in historiography. In particular, it seeks to explain the book’s treatment of the judicial sources on which it is based, the way in which it interprets them, and the conclusions it draws from its analysis, with the purpose of discussing the potential and limitations of labor justice archives in shedding new light on more general historical processes, such as the changes brought about by early Peronism in the world of work and the workers’ experience of the State.
