It was a group made up of a contingent of bureaucrats, soldiers, churchmen and merchants who stood out for leading the centralist political project. They left because of their defeat in the first federal war (1826-1829). This article will analyze how this political exodus entailed several faces of political failure. En 1829 inició el primer exilio federal centroamericano con dirección a México.
