To do this, we study the different traditions of the Rule of Law (German, French and English) in order to clarify the particularity of each of them and to show that the social dimension of the State is not a historical and logical innovation subsequent to the liberal configuration of the Rule of Law order, but rather a reformulation of it, which has clear precedents in the French Revolution and in the British tradition of the Rule of Law.
