For that purpose, it focuses on four cases of interpreters who circulated in areas which, as a result of their actions, later became part of New Spain and the governorate of Guatemala. Based on the study of the proofs of merits and services of these characters, it proposes that their links and circulation were essential for the knowledge of local languages, the connection between conquests, the dynamics of interpretation and the establishment of royal jurisdiction.
