Many of them traveled with the aim of buying the positions of political government and justice magistracies that at that time were distributed for money in the court of Madrid. Based on this case, the processes of transferring capital from America to Spain, the origin of the fortunes of some of the Indians and the links between venality and corruption are studied. El artículo aborda la trayectoria de un grupo de indianos que, procedentes del virreinato del Perú, y portando grandes sumas de dinero, llegaron al puerto de Saint-Malo en el mes de julio de 1710. Buena parte de ellos viajaron con el objetivo de comprar los puestos de gobierno político y magistraturas de justicia que por entonces se distribuían por dinero en la corte de Madrid. A partir de este caso se estudian los procesos de transferencia de capitales desde América a España, el origen de las fortunas de algunos de los indianos y los nexos entre venalidad y corrupción. O artigo trata da trajetória de um grupo de índios que, vindos do Vice-Reino do Peru, e carregando grandes somas de dinheiro, chegaram ao porto de Saint-Malo em julho de 1710. Muitos deles viajaram com o objetivo de comprar os cargos de governo político e magistraturas de justiça que na época eram distribuídas a troco de dinheiro no tribunal de Madrid. A partir deste caso, estudam-se os processos de transferência de capitais da América para a Espanha, a origem das fortunas de alguns índios e os vínculos entre venalidade e corrupção.
