To this end, it outlines a brief panorama of Argentine historiography since the recovery of democracy in 1983, taking into account the academic and institutional context as well as the political, social and economic context; it reviews the main milestones in the trajectory of the AsAIH; it highlights some historiographical innovations produced in recent decades; and finally it presents a brief summary of the texts that are part of the dossier. El texto presenta los trabajos que integran el dossier sobre el estado de la historiografía argentina, los cuales fueron elaborados a partir de las exposiciones realizadas en abril y mayo de 2021 en las Jornadas que conmemoraron los diez años de la Asociación Argentina de Investigadores en Historia (AsAIH). Para ello, se traza un breve panorama de la historiografía argentina desde la recuperación de la democracia en 1983, teniendo en cuenta tanto el contexto académico e institucional como el político, social y económico; repasa los principales hitos en la trayectoria de la AsAIH; destaca algunas innovaciones historiográficas producidas en las últimas décadas; y por último presenta una breve síntesis de los textos que forman parte del dossier.
