Djenderedjian, Julio Gelman, Jorge   El debate que aquí se presenta incluye las versiones escritas y revisadas de las intervenciones que tuvieron lugar durante las jornadas organizadas por la Red de Estudios Rurales (RER) y el Programa de Estudios Rurales (PROER) en el Instituto Ravignani, en Buenos Aires, el pasado 4 de mayo de 2016. Esas Jornadas llevaron por título el del presente dossier, lo que pone de relieve cuáles eran los ejes centrales que nos pareció que permitían generar un debate enriquecedor en torno a cuatro libros recientes, debate que esperábamos permitiera poner de realce hasta donde se había llegado en la revisión de los procesos de construcción de los liderazgos políticos revolucionarios y post-revolucionarios en el territorio sudamericano, centrándonos en los casos rioplatense y chileno.
