Sumario:From Sandra's long and rich research career, it is worth highlighting at least four relevant and productive aspects. First, she contributed not only to promoting but rather creating a field of right-wing studies with a line of research that is both rigorous and critical, but not partisan. They are studies that do not start from the condemnation of the subjects studied, but they do not exclude ideological criticism when it is pertinent. Secondly, Sandra's research always has a comparative perspective. The comparative perspective helps to perceive national particularities and shared trends between countries. Thirdly, we can mention her early interest in the study of the transnational circulation of subjects. And, finally, as a fourth point, the already mentioned active and creative promotion of dialogue between political history and the gender perspective. With this, she has contributed decisively to the fact that all those who question the constitution of right-wing subjects have to do the exercise of reconstructing what definitions of “man”, “woman”, “normality”, “heterosexuality” and “deviation” " They had. In this way it has allowed the exit from the ghetto of Gender studies and its full and decisive incorporation into the study of relevant phenomena of the 20th century.
