description This paper aims to map the educational offerings in Speech Therapy in Argentina and to develop certain aspects related to regionalization, practices, and the attainment of the degree above mentioned. This study was conducted through an analysis of the resolutions of the curricula for Speech Therapy programs. A compilation of secondary data sources was carried out, followed by a comparative and comprehensive analysis of them. The results indicate that, concerning the regionalization of higher education centers offering training in Speech Therapy, the geographic distribution shows a centralization of universities towards the centre of the country, leaving surrounding areas the country without offerings in this discipline. This suggests a lack of a planned projection logic for both public and private institutions. Regarding the hours of practical training in the various Speech Therapy programs around the country, there is evidence of a predominantly theoretical undergraduate education. The vast majority of programs give little or no focus to supervised practical skills, these being just theoretical ones, with most of the university training being theoretical. Furthermore, despite the fact that there is a trend for practical training to be developed, this is intended for the last years of the training program. As for obtaining the degree, more than half of the programs require the submission of a final project. It is important to note that producing a final project or thesis requires skills and decision-making that demand a high level of reflection.

Este trabajo, tiene por objetivo cartografiar la oferta educativa fonoaudiológica en Argentina y caracterizar aspectos vinculados con la regionalización, las prácticas y la obtención del título de grado. Este estudio se llevó a cabo a través de un análisis documental de las resoluciones de los planes de estudio de las carreras de fonoaudiología. Se realizó un volcado de fuentes de datos secundarias y su consecuente análisis comparativo- comprensivo de las mismas. Los resultados dan cuenta que en relación a la regionalización de los centros de educación superior que ofrece la formación en fonoaudiología se observa que la distribución geográfica muestra una centralización de las universidades, dejando zonas del país sin oferta en esta disciplina, lo que indica que no contempla una lógica de proyección planificada tanto de las instituciones públicas o privadas. En relación a las horas de formación práctica que tienen en las distintas carreras de fonoaudiología del país se evidencia una formación de grado predominantemente teórica. La gran mayoría de las carreras ofrecen una escasa cantidad de horas prácticas supervisadas, siendo la mayoría de la formación universitaria teórica. Así mismo, se observa que hay una tendencia a ser desarrolladas en los últimos años de la propuesta curricular. En cuanto a la obtención del título de grado, más de la mitad de las carreras solicitan la entrega de un Trabajo final. Cabe destacar que la producción de un trabajo final o tesis de grado requiere habilidades y tomas de decisiones que requieren un alto uso de la reflexión.
