Sumario:The current article analyzes health practices in the Atharva Veda, a key component of ancient Vedic literature. The source material includes the original text, supported by the Kauçika Sūtra (Bloomfield, M.), translations into European languages (Bloomfield, M.; Griffith, R.; Henry, V. A. V.) which have been revised and commented on by the authors, and interdisciplinary studies on the Vedas. This inquiry falls within the realm of historical anthropology and aims to deepen understanding of the specific field by identifying significant lines in the interpretations and practices that preceded the classical texts of Ayurveda, which emerged between the 6th and 3rd centuries BCE. This research is part of the project titled "Medicina hipocrática y ayurveda: una comparación histórica"
