The source material includes the original text, supported by the Kauçika Sūtra (Bloomfield, M.), translations into European languages (Bloomfield, M.; Griffith, R.; Henry, V. A. This inquiry falls within the realm of historical anthropology and aims to deepen understanding of the specific field by identifying significant lines in the interpretations and practices that preceded the classical texts of Ayurveda, which emerged between the 6th and 3rd centuries BCE.
