Within this framework the figure of the auctioneers stood out and carried out particular practices typical of local land sale processes. This work aspires to recognize and analyze the journey towards the construction of this figure and what we could call expert knowledge, taking into account that in the absence of a formalized disciplinary corpus, those individuals who treasured practices and experience gained importance. Thus, a second topic of interest is built around the analysis of their training and stabilization circles, the different forms of professional association that slowly organized and contributed to the construction and legitimation of the profession are reviewed. Finally, clues are offered to investigate the areas of collaboration and linkage between private companies linked to the land market and the state administrative sphere, with the intention of contributing to the vindication of the role of auctioneers in more complex processes. extensive construction of the territory. En el marco de los loteos y venta de tierras en cuotas que se llevaron adelante en el proceso de expansión de la ciudad de Buenos Aires, se destacó la figura de los rematadores, quienes impusieron prácticas particulares propias de los procesos locales de venta de tierras. Este trabajo aspira, en primer lugar, a reconocer y analizar el recorrido hacia la construcción de esta figura y de las instancias mediante las que se fue estableciendo un cierto “saber experto”, teniendo en cuenta que ante la ausencia de un corpus disciplinar formalizado, cobraron importancia aquellos individuos que atesoraban las prácticas y la experiencia. Así se construye un segundo tema de interés en torno al análisis de sus círculos de formación y estabilización, se revisan las diferentes formas de asociación profesional que lentamente se organizaron y contribuyeron a la construcción y legitimación de la profesión. Por último, se ofrecen pistas para indagar sobre las zonas de colaboración y vinculación entre las empresas privadas ligadas al mercado de tierras y la esfera administrativa estatal, con la intención de contribuir, en un cruce de miradas, a la reivindicación del rol de los rematadores en procesos más amplios de construcción del territorio.
