Sumario:Since the formation of national states, the school has been a space for the transmission of certain stories about the past and the construction of collective memory. Argentina’s recent Past in particular, characterized as a “past that does not pass”, controversial, traumatic and conflictive, is necessarily “reworked” by the school institution to transmit it to young people. In this article I made a brief theoretical journey the recent past as an object of study, recognizing the main conceptualizations and discussions about memory, history and Education, on the one hand, to then analyze the different narratives that have been constructed about the Argentine recent past both history and from memory and the ways in which it is proposed to incorporate into the school through educational reforms and curricular designs of the subject History of 5th year and 6th year of secondary level of the Province of Buenos Aires.
