El trabajo comienza con una breve historización de la Salud Bucal, las investigaciones en el campo, el trabajo interdisciplinario, la formación y las distintas concepciones epistemológicas en el concepto de salud –enfermedad y la crisis del sistema de salud.El objetivo general de la tesis se centro en generar nuevas conceptualizaciones  y estrategias que aporten a las estructuras de grado y postgrado universitarias, o una mayor adecuación de las currículas a la formación profesional y el desarrollo de nuevas relaciones vinculares con el mercado de trabajo.Uno de los propósitos de esta tesis es generar otra mirada en el proceso de discusión y teorización iniciado en el campo odontológico que permita ubicar  lo cotidiano, inmediato, individual y subjetivo, dentro de lo social, colectivo, histórico y estructural en función del objeto de estudio, con la pretensión de  aportar a la reflexión temática.Recibido:  Jun.2009 |   Aceptado:  Sep.2009Para citar este artículo:Saenz, Ignacio.
