It constitutes the automation of exchanges of assets and services, information, knowledge and transactions by means of electronic processes. These can either require a financial compensation or not. E-commerce is considered an educational and cross-curricular content as it is related to world issues, has a functional value and is linked to other disciplines. For e-commerce to be included in the curricula, some significant pedagogical aspects must be first discussed among facilitators. El crecimiento de comercio electrónico en Argentina es imparable. El comercio electrónico es la automatización mediante procesos electrónicos de los intercambios de información, transacciones, conocimientos, bienes y servicios que pueden o no llevar a una contraprestación financiera. Se conceptúa como un contenido transversal educativo por su relación con los problemas del mundo, su valor funcional y su vinculación con otras disciplinas.
