Freud’s references to Adler are also included. The object of this review is to point out that Popper expanded his conclusions on individual psychology –founded through the practice he shared with Adler– to cover psychoanalysis, without properly considering if that expansion was pertinent to the disciplined started by Freud. El artículo revisa las referencias de Popper a Adler y a Freud ampliándolas por el recurso sus textos fundamentales, así como también las del mismo Freud a Adler. La finalidad de dicha revisión es señalar que Popper ha extendido sus conclusiones sobre la psicología individual –fundamentadas en la práctica efectiva que compartió con Adler– hacia el psicoanálisis, sin controlar la pertinencia de dicha extensión en los principales textos de la disciplina creada por Freud.
