| Sumario: | This work presents the development of the study of Dentistry Embryology and Histology since they are considered the resource used par excellence in the development of the teaching learning processes. The contents dealt with in the study framework were the importance of the textbook, its evolution and concept today; a review of the state of the issue related to textbook research and methodologies applied to this day.Finally, there is the presentation of a methodology with the intention of providing an innovative contribution to the study of textbooks for its subsequent application in the teaching activity, with the purpose of improving the efficiency in the university teaching learning processes resulting in the heightening of its quality and in the favorable effect in the role played by teachers and students. |
