The aim of this study is to measure the surface tension of solutions of sodium hypochlorite, hydrogen peroxide, and EDTA clorexidine for penetration and capillarity teeth. In a first step surface Tensions of each were taken; Sodium Hypochlorite 67.96 dyn / cm; peroxide 72.50 dyn / cm; clorexidine 40.27 dyn / cm; EDTA and 50.58 dynes / cm and stained; then proceeded to prepare access to 40 pieces and divided them into four groups. Then took a piece of the first group is the instrument with a flexible lime No. 15, and is irrigated with the colored solution. Once the piece was treated, he turned and began the same process on the second tooth of the same solution group; only that this time it was increasing the work No. 20 lime and lime and continue until No. 60 .Then proceeded to sectioning them, to appreciate the irrigant penetration into the root canal. To perform the statistical analysis a measure, ranging from the apex of the piece, to where it began to display the magnifying glass colored with antiseptic took. As a result the clorexidine obtained very significant penetration values. Therefore we conclude that is a very appropriate agent from the physical point of view to irrigate the root canal. |

I15-R233-article-1082015-07-06T15:54:02Z 45 • Comparative study of different antiseptic solutions used during preparation surgical root canal 45 • Estudio comparativo de las distintas soluciones antisépticas, utilizadas durante la preparación quirúrgica de los conductos radiculares SAPIENZA, MARIA ELENA Odontology; Histology; Embryology root canal; capillarity; irrigants Formación clinica conductos; capilaridad; irrigantes The aim of this study is to measure the surface tension of solutions of sodium hypochlorite, hydrogen peroxide, and EDTA clorexidine for penetration and capillarity teeth.
