Her search for herself intertwines with the desire to escape a place where she has always felt like a foreigner. In this displacement, two figures are central: the mirror and the brilliant idea. Through the former, Inés discovers herself; she encounters an image that surprises her, yet does not make her feel entirely alien; the one present is not preceded by the in of the negative: she is an in-credible subject. Thanks to the latter, she completes her metamorphosis and reaffirms herself in the world of paper to which she has fled. Thus, the mirror and literature transform into refractors of worlds, at the intersection where it seems possible for Inés to turn her parents “outstanding” status into a brilliant idea. Este ensayo se propone realizar un análisis de la autobiografía de I Acevedo, Una idea genial (2010), a partir de las huellas que el sujeto que se constituye en ella, Inés, deja entrever en su peregrinación desde la hostil Napaleofú hacia la literatura. La búsqueda de sí misma se entrecruza con las ganas de huir de un lugar en el que siempre se sintió extranjera. En este desplazamiento, resultan centrales dos figuras: el espejo y la idea genial. Gracias al primero, Inés se descubre a sí misma, se encuentra con una imagen que la sorprende pero que no le es del todo ajena; la que está allí no aparece precedida por el in de lo negativo: es un sujeto in-creíble. Gracias a la segunda, completa su metamorfosis y se reafirma en el mundo de papel al que ha volado. De esta forma, espejo y literatura se transforman en los refractores de mundos, en la intersección donde parece posible para Inés hacer del “fuera de serie” de sus padres una idea genial. Este ensaio propõe realizar uma análise da autobiografia de I Acevedo, Una idea genial (2010), a partir das marcas deixadas pelo sujeito que nela se constitui, Inês, na sua peregrinação da hostil Napaleofú até a literatura. A busca por si mesma se entrelaça com a vontade de fugir de um lugar onde sempre se sentiu estrangeira. Neste deslocamento, são centrais duas figuras: o espelho e a ideia genial. Graças ao primeiro, Inês se descobre a si mesma, encontra-se com uma imagem que a surpreende mas que não é totalmente alheia a ela; aquela que está ali não aparece precedida pelo in do negativo: é um sujeito in-crível. Graças à segunda, completa a sua metamorfose e se reafirma no mundo de papel para o qual voou. Desta forma, espelho e literatura se transformam em refratores de mundos, na interseção onde parece possível para Inês fazer do “fora de série” de seus pais uma ideia genial.
