In our article we will focus on one that we believe to be of the greatest relevance: the inferential character of the substitution that operates between the model and its target system. En el presente artículo reflexionamos en torno a qué significa, a partir de un modelo, generar hipótesis sobre los fenómenos. Swoyer define esto último como razonamiento sustituto (1991, p. 449) y creemos que presenta desafíos que es necesario confrontar. En nuestro artículo nos detendremos en uno que creemos de la mayor relevancia: el carácter inferencial de la sustitución que opera entre el modelo y su sistema objetivo. Neste artigo reflectimos sobre o que significa gerar hipóteses sobre fenómenos a partir de um modelo. Swoyer define este último como raciocínio de substituição (1991, p. 449) e acreditamos que ele apresenta desafios que precisam de ser enfrentados. No nosso artigo centrar-nos-emos num que acreditamos ser da maior relevância: o carácter inferencial da substituição que opera entre o modelo e o seu sistema alvo. Escuela de Filosofía.
