This paper will be interested in problematizing the way in which the humanist model has attributed to man the privilege of being the only being capable of acting and shaping the world. The objective will be to explore an expanded perspective of agency towards the animal, vegetable and material world. From the proliferation of the possibilities of agency we will discover, in turn, different ways of forming and inhabiting worlds: the world as a totalizing sphere, as a set of surrounding worlds and as a mixture of material agencies. Finally, this perspective tending towards the de-hierarchization of human agency will be contrasted with the difficulties posed by the notion of the Anthropocene. Man's responsibility for the geological scope of his activity re-emphasizes the centrality of his capacity for agency, thus showing the contradictions that arise in attempts to go beyond humanism. Si la historia de la metafísica es, como sugiere Heidegger, esencialmente humanista, los cuestionamientos que se han dirigido al humanismo, aunados bajo el rótulo de posthumanismo, tienen frente a sí el desafío de establecer una ruptura con una hegemonía bimilenaria de lo humano frente a lo no-humano. En este trabajo interesará problematizar el modo en que el modelo humanista ha atribuido al hombre el privilegio de ser el único ser capaz de actuar y de formar mundo. El objetivo será explorar una perspectiva expandida de la agencia hacia el mundo animal, vegetal y material. A partir de la proliferación de las posibilidades de la agencia se descubren, a su vez, distintas maneras de formar y habitar mundos: el mundo como esfera totalizante, como conjunto de mundos circundantes y como mixtura de agencias materiales. Finalmente, se contrastará esta perspectiva tendiente hacia la des-jerarquización de la agencia humana con las dificultades que plantea la noción de Antropoceno. La responsabilidad del hombre frente al alcance geológico de su actividad vuelve a poner el acento en la centralidad de su capacidad agencia, mostrando así las contradicciones que se gestan en los intentos de ir más allá del humanismo.
