Rosario, 1910-1930 Cuscianno, Aylen This article aims is to reconstruct a biography: the life of Haydée Maciel, a normalist teacher of the first decades of the twentieth century in the city of Rosario. The study of the biography as a historical narration makes it possible to frame the path taken and some of the main facts in the life of this young teacher, in dialogue with the social, political, economical and ideological situation of the period. For  "women-teachers" the constructions of senses, roles, actions and desired behaviors were double: first as women and second as teachers. The biography of Haydée Maciel allows us to recognize and verify the existence of "women-teachers" who kept a transgressive performance in relation to the sexual canons and mandates of the time that fell on them. El presente artículo tiene como objetivo la reconstrucción de una biografía: historiar la vida de Haydée Maciel, una maestra normalista de las primeras décadas del siglo XX en la ciudad de Rosario. El estudio de la biografía como narrativa histórica posibilita enmarcar el camino recorrido y algunos de los principales hechos en la vida de esta joven maestra, en diálogo con la coyuntura social, política, económica e ideológica del período. Para las “mujeres-maestras” las construcciones de sentidos, de roles, acciones y comportamientos deseados fueron dobles: en tanto mujeres, en primer lugar, y, en segundo lugar, como maestras. La biografía de Haydée Maciel permite reconocer y constatar la existencia de “mujeres-maestras” que mantuvieron una actuación transgresora en relación a los cánones y mandatos sexuados de la época que sobre ellas caían.
