Since the consolidation of certain values and social thresholds is an expected condition for the identification of an adult subject in our societies, the difficulty in meeting these expected elements turns the gaze towards the conformation of said identity of adulthood and the new values that it may have and the thresholds or transitions that must characterize it. Starting from the life course approach, a theoretical review of the changes in age constructions in contemporary societies is carried out, to later present a proposal for the construction of an age identity from adulthood; Finally, the first results obtained from the field work with the vital trajectories of the subjects of this investigation will be exposed. En este estudio se presentan los primeros hallazgos de una investigación cualitativa sobre la generación de identidad en la edad desde la adultez joven de sujetos frikis de Ciudad Juárez. Al ser la consolidación de ciertos valores y umbrales sociales una condición esperada para la identificación de un sujeto adulto en nuestras sociedades, la dificultad en el cumplimiento de estos elementos esperados vuelve la mirada hacia la conformación de dicha identidad de la edad adulta y los nuevos valores que esta puede tener y los umbrales o transiciones que la han de caracterizar.
