However, some provincial territories like Tucumán are still permeated with tensions and disputes over the application of existing regulations, especially those related to sexuality and sexual diversity. For this reason, having completed 20 years of the enactment of the first argentinian law in sexual health, law number 25.673, named Creation of the Sexual Health and Responsible Procreation Program, the propose of this article is a balance of the events in these years in the province of Tucumán. This study critically analyzes the most relevant milestones of these two decades in terms of sexuality, politics and social actors in the province of Tucumán, to examine how the implementation of the law and public policies has been. This analysis shows that the presence of neoconservatisms and religious activisms remains acting in a reactionary manner to any advance of rights in the field of sexual health.
