In theoreticalmethodologicalterms, the text is part of international security and contemporary strategic studies, especially in polemology – that is, conflict prevention and resolution. Likewise, the republican theory of international relations and the methodology of construction of prospective scenarios are adopted. The main conclusion of the essay identifies some opportunities to find a negotiated solution, mainly based on the principle of reciprocity and exchange of territories. El artículo propone escenarios prospectivos para el actual conflicto ruso-ucraniano. En términos teóricometodológicos,el texto forma parte de los estudios en seguridad internacional y cuestiones estratégicas contemporáneas, especialmente en el área de concentración de la polemología – con foco en la prevención y resolución de conflictos. Asimismo, se adopta la teoría republicana de relaciones internacionales y la metodología de construcción de escenarios prospectivos.
