The collective memory only is effective if there are different voices and the memory is remembered from different perspectives. The films with women as protagonists and directed by women talk about the feminine experiences and remind that the wars are not only lived by soldiers and are not ended with the armistice.   El cine de guerra es el único género que la República Islámica de Irán usa como medio de propaganda oficial, pues la Guerra Irán-Iraq tuvo gran importancia en la formación de la idea de nación y en la consolidación del régimen mismo; pero fue hasta finales de la década de los 90 que las mujeres empezaron a tener personajes de importancias en estos filmes y hasta 2005 se filmó una película del tema dirigido por una mujer. La memoria colectiva sólo es efectiva si hay diversas de voces y se recuerda desde distintas perspectivas. Los filmes con mujeres protagonistas y dirigidos por mujeres hablan de las vivencias femeninas y recuerdan que las guerras no sólo las viven los soldados ni se acaban con los armisticios.
