Given the worldwide repercussions of what happened in those territories, this small contribution will seek to demystify various aspects disseminated in order to cloud the understanding of what happens in daily Palestinian and Israeli life. En esta introducción resumiremos los principales lineamientos de los cinco artículos de este dossier. La situación actual nos lleva también a comentar, a grandes rasgos, la escalada de violencia actual que acosa a los palestinos y que genera situaciones inéditas en Palestina e Israel actual. Dadas las repercusiones a nivel mundial de lo sucedido en esos territorios, este pequeño aporte buscará desmitificar varios aspectos difundidos en pos de nublar el entendimiento de lo que sucede en la vida cotidiana palestina y también israelí.
