This is a writing experience that uses an approach based on microhistory to show the potential of Mari's cuneiform documentation, especially real correspondence, for the treatment of sociologically relevant phenomena from the narration of a chain of singular events. A través de la descripción de tres episodios de la vida de Yasmah-Addu, rey de Mari en los inicios del siglo XVIII a.C. este artículo se propone reflexionar sobre las formas narrativas de la historia. Se trata de una experiencia de escritura que utiliza un enfoque basado en la microhistoria para mostrar el potencial de la documentación cuneiforme de Mari, especialmente la correspondencia real, para el tratamiento de fenómenos sociológicos relevantes a partir de la narración de una cadena de eventos singulares. À travers la description de trois épisodes de la vie de Yasmah-Addu, roi de Mari au début du XVIIIe siècle av. J.-C., cet article propose une réflexion sur les formes narratives de l'histoire. Il s'agit d'une expérience d'écriture qui utilise une approche basée sur la microhistoire pour montrer le potentiel de la documentation cunéiforme de Mari, en particulier la correspondance royale, pour le traitement de phénomènes sociologiquement pertinents à partir de la narration d'une chaîne d'événements singuliers.
