For this objective, first, we will present the general guidelines of the South African case, second, an analysis of the Palestinian situation, third, we will compare both situations from a broad perspective, and finally, we will investigate the existing studies in this regard. The issue of spatial segregation /apartheid can be key in the diagnosis and search for a solution to the Palestinian question. Among other definitions such as colonialism of occupation, showing whether Israel's oppression of Palestine is a form of apartheid, implies knowing where to point international positions. El propósito del artículo es analizar los debates acerca de si el Estado de Israel comete un apartheid, o sea un crimen de lesa humanidad, contra la población palestina. Para ese cometido, primero, presentaremos los lineamientos generales del caso sudafricano, segundo, un análisis de la situación palestina, tercero, compararemos ambas situaciones desde una amplia perspectiva, y finalmente, indagaremos en los estudios existentes al respecto. El tema de la segregación espacial/apartheid puede resultar clave en el diagnóstico y búsqueda de una solución a la cuestión palestina. Entre otras definiciones como colonialismo de ocupación, evidenciar si la situación de opresión de Israel sobre Palestina se trata de una forma de apartheid, implica saber hacia dónde apuntar los posicionamientos internacionales.
