This collection includes materials that are distributed both nationally and locally, contributing to collective or individual efforts to highlight processes of Afro-descendant advocacy and recognition of their contributions, as well as public policies or governmental programs. It employs theoretical criteria related to aesthetic, thematic, and authorship aspects of the works as reading keys. From a critical intercultural perspective, the article provides initial reflections on the representational proposals and their examination, promotion, and incorporation in the educational sphere. Este artículo presenta una recopilación de obras literarias con temática afro para las infancias que se publican en Colombia en las dos primeras décadas del siglo XXI, haciendo énfasis en las producciones de autoras y autores afrodescendientes y en aquellas generadas desde las organizaciones sociales y las comunidades. Este corpus está conformado por materiales que tienen circulación nacional y local, que hacen parte de esfuerzos colectivos o individuales por visibilizar los procesos de reivindicación y reconocimiento de los aportes afrodescendientes, o de políticas públicas o programas gubernamentales. Tiene como claves de lectura algunos criterios teóricos relacionados con aspectos estéticos, temáticos y de autoría de las obras, y desde una perspectiva intercultural crítica, ofrece una primera reflexión sobre sus propuestas representacionales y sobre su estudio, promoción e incorporación en el ámbito educativo.
