| Sumario: | The following article investigates the history of Comprehensive Sexual Education (CSE) in Argentina and, in particular, its approach in the teaching of history. From this framework, three sections are proposed that recover information from previous and ongoing research. The first of them, ESI in dispute, briefly historicizes the teaching of sexual education during the 20th and 21st centuries and presents different institutional paths from which ESI was strengthened, slowly and gradually. The second, Disputes about what ESI to teach, brings as a case study the analysis of the Curriculum Design of the Secondary Level of Neuquén, recently implemented, given that the ESI subject is incorporated there as a mandatory subject and, in transversal terms, it is observed how this is linked to knowledge and knowledge of history. The third, Disputing the ESI in the teaching of history, takes up interviews carried out with referents of the discipline, teachers of the History program at the National University of La Plata who, among other topics, reflect on how practitioners incorporate the ESI.
In short, an invitation to think about the paths, conquests and resistances waged in the past and present around the ESI. |
