description The following article investigates the history of Comprehensive Sexual Education (CSE) in Argentina and, in particular, its approach in the teaching of history. From this framework, three sections are proposed that recover information from previous and ongoing research. The first of them, ESI in dispute, briefly historicizes the teaching of sexual education during the 20th and 21st centuries and presents different institutional paths from which ESI was strengthened, slowly and gradually. The second, Disputes about what ESI to teach, brings as a case study the analysis of the Curriculum Design of the Secondary Level of Neuquén, recently implemented, given that the ESI subject is incorporated there as a mandatory subject and, in transversal terms, it is observed how this is linked to knowledge and knowledge of history. The third, Disputing the ESI in the teaching of history, takes up interviews carried out with referents of the discipline, teachers of the History program at the National University of La Plata who, among other topics, reflect on how practitioners incorporate the ESI. In short, an invitation to think about the paths, conquests and resistances waged in the past and present around the ESI.

El siguiente artículo indaga la historia de la Educación Sexual Integral (ESI) en Argentina y, en particular, su abordaje en la enseñanza de la historia. Desde este marco, se plantean tres apartados que recuperan información de investigaciones precedentes y en curso. El primero de ellos, ESI en disputa, historiza brevemente la enseñanza de la educación sexual durante el siglo XX y XXI y presenta, diferentes caminos institucionales desde donde la ESI se fue fortaleciendo, de manera lenta y gradual. El segundo, Disputas en torno a qué ESI enseñar, trae como caso de estudio el análisis del Diseño Curricular del Nivel Secundario de Neuquén, de reciente implementación, dado que allí se incorpora la materia ESI como asignatura obligatoria y, en términos trasversales, se observa cómo ésta se vincula con los conocimientos y saberes de Historia. El tercero, Disputar la ESI en la enseñanza de la historia, retoma entrevistas realizadas a docentes de la carrera de Historia de la Universidad Nacional de La Plata quienes, entre otros tópicos, reflexionan cómo lxs practicantes incorporan la ESI.  En suma, una invitación a pensar en los derroteros, conquistas y resistencias libradas en el pasado y presente alrededor de la ESI.    O seguinte artigo investiga a história da Educação Sexual Integral (ESA) na Argentina e, em particular, sua abordagem no ensino de história. A partir deste quadro, são propostas três seções que recuperam informações de pesquisas anteriores e em andamento. O primeiro deles, o ESI em disputa, historiciza brevemente o ensino da educação sexual durante os séculos XX e XXI e apresenta diferentes caminhos institucionais a partir dos quais o ESI se fortaleceu, de forma lenta e gradual. O segundo, Disputas sobre o que ensinar ESI, traz como estudo de caso a análise do Desenho Curricular do Nível Secundário de Neuquén, recentemente implementado, visto que a disciplina ESI está ali incorporada como disciplina obrigatória e, em termos transversais, é observa-se como isso está ligado ao conhecimento e ao conhecimento da história. A terceira, Disputando o ESI no ensino de história, retoma entrevistas realizadas com referentes da disciplina, professores do curso de História da Universidade Nacional de La Plata que, entre outros temas, refletem sobre como os profissionais incorporam o ESI.
