It deals particularly with the interest in a recent and powerful process of the widening and deepening of gender policies in university spaces: a case study of the Counselling Department on Sexualities, Gender Identities and Situations of Patriarchal Violence created in the Universidad Nacional de Cuyo in 2015, as an instance of feminist intervention within the university environment. The study has a qualitative methodological design from a feminist perspective, taking into account the territorial and critical diversity of the organizations, and is focused on the emergence of the space and on its main features and functions. It explains the work that is carried out, the perspective of its interventions, and certain tensions and challenges that impact on its purpose of mainstreaming gender perspective in the UNCuyo. El presente trabajo aborda una temática que ha adquirido gran relevancia en las acciones que vienen desarrollando los feminismos desde hace décadas: la visibilización de la desigualdad y la violencia de género y su problematización como un tema de agenda política ante el cual las comunicades universidades también son interpeladas para dar respuestas. En este sentido, abona desde su particularidad, el interés por un proceso reciente y potente, de ensanchamiento y profundización de las políticas de género en los ámbitos universitarios: un estudio de caso sobre la Consejería en Sexualidades, Identidades de Género y situaciones de Violencia Patriarcal creada en la Universidad Nacional de Cuyo, en 2015 como una experiencia de intervención feminista en el ámbito universitario. El estudio realizado desde un diseño metodológico de tipo cualitativo, desde una perspectiva feministas, de la diversidad territorial y crítica de las organizaciones, se centra en el surgimiento del espacio, sus principales características y funciones. Explicamos el trabajo que realiza, la perspectiva desde la cual realiza sus intervenciones, y algunas tensiones y desafíos que la atraviesa en su objetivo de transversalizar la perspectiva de género en la UNCuyo.
