In this paper, we attempt to deal with the development of the different stages in the formulation of the conceptual-intentional interface in relation to the sesorimotor interface on the one hand and the evolutionary aspects of human language on the other. With regard to this, we not only tackle Chomsky’s developments but also the way in which Hinzen’s arguments have had an effect in the determination of the conceptual-intentional interface’s statue and in the latest Chomskian reflections in his co-written work with Berwick in 2016. En el marco del Minimalismo Biolingüístico, tanto la naturaleza como el contenido y el lugar en el diseño del lenguaje de la interfaz conceptual-intencional han suscitado una serie de reformulaciones que no solo han impactado en las relaciones entre el lenguaje y el pensamiento sino, fundamentalmente, en la pregunta acerca de qué es el lenguaje. En este trabajo no proponemos abordar el devenir de esos distintos estadios de la formulación de dicha interfaz en relación a la interfaz sensorio-motora, por un lado, y los aspectos evolutivos del lenguaje humano por el otro. En relación a esto trabajaremos los desarrollos del propio Chomsky como así también la manera en la que han impactado los argumentos de Hinzen en la determinación del estatuto de la interfaz conceptual-intencional y en las últimas especulaciones chomskianas en su trabajo escrito conjuntamente con Berwick en el 2016.
