Our intention is to observe how the narrative strategy of haunting works in this novel through the elaboration of earth as a space for memory that can be embodied with the practice of the main character, a young medium. En el presente artículo nuestro interés es analizar cómo sobre las desapariciones en la novela Cometierra de Dolores Reyes, seconstruye una estética de lo espectral que revela operaciones necropolíticas que ponen de manifiesto cuáles son actualmente las existencias consideradas menos relevantes, las vidas que no importan y son susceptibles de ser eliminadas por el sistema. La intención es observar la manera en que la estrategia narrativa del asedio o haunting acciona en la novela a partir de la construcción de la tierra como un espacio de memoria que puede adquirir cuerpo a través de la práctica de la protagonista, una joven médium.
