Towards the end of the ´70, from the History and Heritage Institute – UCC, a project was developed to rescue two cloisters of the building, with an interdisciplinary team coordinated by Marina Waisman. She convened Lic Marta Slavazza, an uncommon event at the time, when the historical archeology was still emerging. Her detailed report had a low impact in the work. The Institute only conserves the written work, without graphic, and the partial publication of 1999 neither provides this. The work of Slavazza and the stone objects found later are being brought to light of new historical documentation. This new contrasts allow to: move forward in the historical architecture investigations, better understanding of the architecture and the building functions in the Jesuit period , and propose substantiated interventions that contribute to its interpretation. Los ámbitos originales del Colegio Convictorio de Nuestra Señora de Montserrat - hoy Museo San Alberto- son los edificios cordobeses menos reconocidos por su identidad jesuítica. Hacia fines de los ‘70, desde el Instituto de Historia y Patrimonio - UCC, se elabora un proyecto de rescate de dos claustros del edificio, con un equipo interdisciplinario coordinado por Marina Waisman. Ella convoca a la Lic. Marta Slavazza, en un hecho poco común para la época, cuando la arqueología histórica era incipiente Su detallado informe tuvo bajo impacto en la obra. El Instituto solo conserva el escrito, sin gráfico, y la publicación parcial de 1999 tampoco los aporta. El trabajo de Slavazza y los objetos pétreos recuperados posteriormente, hoy son puestos a la luz de nuevos documentos históricos. Estas nuevas contrastaciones permiten: avanzar en las investigaciones histórico-arquitectónicas, comprender mejor la arquitectura y las funciones del edificio en el período jesuítico, y proponer intervenciones fundamentadas que contribuyan a su interpretación.
