Sumario:Almost without exception, scientific disciplines are currently developing as a sum of specialities which, like branches of a tree, grow simultaneously, separating and intertwining to cover a specific area of research. Although each branch has its own rhythm, orientation and deviations, none of them stands alone; it is the organic network that extends between them and the main trunk that allows them to become strong and to continue advancing, building a scientific field that in turn connects with others. The notion of a solitary science, enclosed in its own concepts and with professionals focused only on their own advances, was replaced by that of different teams connected to each other, collaborating or competing, but always aware of the proposals of others and seeking to integrate ideas, theories and data from various origins.
