When approaching the social experience of the past and the reconstruction of a national and Latin American identity, the theoretical and methodological conceptual bodies, when re-interpreting our history, must assume the academic commitment in the integration to a Nation State in order to begin to be loyal to the popular segments of a past that claims what the official theoretical industry does not require. La intención de esta investigación es mostrar como algunos estudios destinados a interpretar diferentes aspectos de la problemática sobre los estudios de frontera en la denominada "Línea de Fuertes y Fortines de la Frontera Sur de la provincia de Buenos Aires" del siglo XIX, han asumido un perfil que en muchos casos reproduce los relatos de una historiografía liberal incorporando las aventuras teóricas de las investigaciones en los EEUU en el proceso de la mal denominada conquista del oeste. Al abordar la experiencia social del pasado y la reconstrucción de una identidad nacional y latinoamericana los cuerpos conceptuales teóricos y metodológicos, al re-interpretar nuestra historia, deben asumir el compromiso académico en la integración a un Estado Nación para poder, comenzar a ser leal con los segmentos populares de un pasado que reivindica lo que no requiere la industria teórica oficial. A intenção desta pesquisa é mostrar como alguns estudos destinados a interpretar diferentes aspectos da problemática sobre os estudos de fronteira na denominada "Linha de Fuertes e Fortines da Fronteira Sul da província de Buenos Aires" do século XIX, assumiram um perfil que em muitos casos reproduz os relatos de uma historiografia liberal incorporando as aventuras teóricas das pesquisas nos EUA no processo da mal denominada conquista do oeste.
