Many factors have contributed to this performance, including deficiencies in logistics, both those related to public policies, such as infrastructure or customs operations, as well as in generally private sphere, such as the logistics services available to exporters. Argentina’s logistics performance in the 2017-2018 period does not show any improvement, so public policy actions should focus both on the development of those components that are under state regulation and on the impulse to the actors involved towards a logistics that becomes a true ally of exporters. La Argentina ha mostrado un comportamiento fluctuante en el comercio mundial en las últimas décadas, con una participación que ha oscilado entre el decrecimiento y el estancamiento. Muchos son los factores que contribuyeron a dicho desempeño, entre ellos las deficiencias en logística, tanto aquellas vinculadas a políticas públicas, tales como infraestructura o funcionamiento de las agencias gubernamentales de intervención, como también las del ámbito privado, como servicios logísticos disponibles para exportadores. El desempeño logístico de Argentina en el período 2017-2018 no muestra mejoras con respecto al período anterior, por lo que las acciones de políticas públicas deben enfocarse tanto hacia el desarrollo de aquellos componentes que están bajo regulación del Estado, como hacia el impulso de los actores involucrados, con la finalidad de lograr un desempeño que se convierta en un verdadero aliado de los exportadores.
